Thanet Dyslexia Services offer screening for those who are presenting with low literacy attainment,  or who have undergone a basic screener previously, which has indicated dyslexic tendencies.  

Screeners are not complete diagnostic assessment tools and therefore they do not diagnose dyslexia, but they provide a more detailed assessment of an individual's strengths and weaknesses and can indicate whether a full diagnostic assessment would be beneficial. 

The screening lasts between 40 and 60 minutes and takes place face-to-face either at our premises or in the child's school subject to the school's agreement. A report is provided to parents/ guardians within 5 working days and if dyslexic tendencies  are seen, then useful strategies are outlined,  supporting learning moving forward.

Screening cost is £105. Full payment is required at time of booking.
