Jennifer Jennings is a fully qualified teacher with 25 years experience and has worked as a specialist teacher across both primary and secondary provision, as well as previously being a Special Educational Needs Coordinator in a primary school. It was through this work that Jennifer's passion for ensuring a level playing field for all grew.
Jennifer is qualified to carry out diagnostic
assessments for dyslexia for students in both primary and secondary school. The comprehensive assessment process builds a picture of the individual – identifying strengths and areas of need and making recommendations that draw on these strengths to create independent and successful learners.
Jennifer is also a qualified specialist teacher for those with SpLD (Dyslexia) and is experienced in teaching individuals with literacy difficulties both with and without a diagnosis of dyslexia.
Jennifer holds a current AMBDA and Level 7 BDA SpLD Assessment Practising Certificate (APC), as well as the following qualifications:
Jennifer is DBS checked, holds professional indemnity insurance, and is registered with the ICO data protection agency.
Jennifer is the founder and Chief Executive of Thanet Dyslexia Services.
